What would cause a motorist to lose control of his vehicle on southbound I-95, crash into a guardrail, a wall, and then another vehicle? The easy answer is distracted driving.
Six people were injured in this I-95 crash, two people were ejected and transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital where they remained in critical condition.
There is no evidence that the accident was caused by distracted driving, it is just speculation on my part, based on the way the accident occurred. To that end, drivers usually lose control of their vehicles because they are intoxicated, a blowout to one of the tires, or distracted driving.
With all the meaningless legislation our leaders pass in Tallahassee every year, perhaps one day they will get serious about bans on texting and driving. Not that it would matter with all the unlicensed and uninsured drivers in Miami-dade!!!!!
