Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed As A Result of Shooting

On Behalf of | Jun 13, 2014 | Negligent Security

Yesterday I wrote about the potential for a wrongful death lawsuit arising out of the shooting at mansion nightclub.  It didn’t take long.  Today a wrongful death lawsuit alleging Negligent Security was filed.  The lawsuit was filed by the Antaun Teasley’s twin brother, who is bringing the lawsuit on behalf of the estate and Teasley’s son.

As I wrote yesterday, Mansion had an extensive history of crime, and in addition thereto they allowed a patron to enter the establishment with a gun.  That is not only negligent security, but bad security as well.

Mr. Teasley’s son is entitled to the following damages:

Loss of Support and Services from date of injury to date of death (w/interest)
Future Loss of Support and Services from date of death (at present value)
Loss of parental companionship, instruction, and guidance AND mental pain and suffering from date of the injury
Medical and funeral expenses due to Mr. Teasley’s injury/death if paid by a survivor.

Our sincere condolonces to the Teasley family.
